Yosemite Photo Workshop Tour
Yosemite National Park is one of America’s most iconic landscapes and is world renowned through the artwork of the forefather of landscape photography, Ansel Adams and offers some of the most spectacular landscape photography opportunities anywhere in the world.
In Yosemite Valley, one is surrounded by 4,000-foot granite mountain walls that were cut by glaciers tens of thousands of years ago. You can hear the roar of the waterfalls as they fall as far as 2,800 feet. You’ll see the lakes and streams that supply the water to a variety of wildlife including deer and bear. And in the winter, Mother Nature creates a spectacular scene of all these elements topped off with snow that can last for months.
Join Lerro Productions as we explore and photograph this American Treasure. Photographers on this trip will learn how to photograph these scenes under a number of different lighting situations, including sunrise and sunset, back lighting and nighttime photography. Unlike most photo trips, we’ll emphasize not only on the day, but the mostly forgotten night scene of Yosemite. As the sun sets, we’ll be treated to the Milky Way and the countless number of stars in the night sky. In the middle of the night, the moon will rise and create a spectacular mix of astronomic light on the valley floor as well as the star-filled sky.
Each day of our trip will feature world famous locations such as “Half Dome,” “El Capitan,” “Cathedral Rock,” “Yosemite Falls” and many other locations in all different lighting conditions. The photographers will also be treated to the wildlife of Yosemite as well as the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoia Trees.
